Justice Moinul Islam Chowdhury, head of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances, said that the commission has received more than 1,600 complaints related to enforced disappearances.

He disclosed this information during a press conference held at the commission’s office on Tuesday (Oct 5) morning, stating that the deadline for submitting complaints ended on October 31.
