COMILLA: Police rescued a gold trader, who was abducted from Chittagong, from Kongshonagar Bazar in Burichang area of the district on Monday morning.
Sources said that the abducted gold trader, however, escaped from the kidnapper, and phoned the Debpur police outpost and later, law enforcers rescued him from the area.
Debpur Police outpost Sub-Inspector Debashish Biswas confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Comilla RAB-11 (CPC-2) Commander Major Shahed said, “We don’t inform about the matter yet.”
