DHAKA: A special prayer and mourn was offered in all the schools across the country on Monday commemorating the tragic bus accident that killed seven and injured 30 primary school students in Chaugachha upazila of Jessore district on Saturday.

Following the accident, Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafijur Rahman on Sunday announced the special program in the primary schools of the coutry.

Capital’s Viqarunnisa Noon School and College Principal Monju Ara Begum told banglanews: “A special prayer has been offered in school section around 10:30am and college section around 12:30pm.”

Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina and Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid expressed deep shock at the death of seven school children in this connection.
