Bangladesh has received $2.47 billion in remittance during the first month of the current fiscal year 2025–26, according to data released by Bangladesh Bank on Monday (August 3).

The amount received in July was $2.47791 billion, equivalent to Tk30,106.60 crore, calculated at the exchange rate of Tk121.50 per US dollar.

The July inflow was slightly lower than that of June this year, which saw $2.82253 billion in remittance. However, it was higher than the amount received in July last year, which was $1.91377 billion.
