Law enforcement authorities have arrested four people, including a couple, in connection with the brutal public stabbing and throat-slitting murder of journalist Md Asaduzzaman Tuhin in Gazipur.
The Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) confirmed the arrests on Friday night (August 8).
GMP Deputy Commissioner Rabiul Hasan said police arrested Faisal, also known as Ketu Mizan, and his wife Golapi from Bhabanipur in Gazipur Sadar, as well as Al-Amin from the Turag area of Uttara in Dhaka.
Separately, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested another suspect named Swadin from Hotapara area in Gazipur Sadar.
Rabiul Hasan said all four suspects have been detained and are involved in the murder case.
