Daytime temperatures across Bangladesh are likely to rise slightly while night-time readings hold steady, according to a government notification issued on Sunday (October 12).
Meteorologist Md Tariful Newaz Kabir stated that the monsoon is weak over the North Bay and less active over Bangladesh, with the southwest monsoon expected to withdraw from the country within 72 hours.
For the period to Monday morning (October 13), light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds may occur at a few places in Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Elsewhere, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures may increase slightly, and nighttime temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged.
From Monday morning to Tuesday morning (October 14), a few places in the Chattogram division may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds, while most other areas are expected to remain mainly dry under partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures may rise slightly, and nighttime temperatures may fall slightly.
From Tuesday morning (October 14) for the next 24 hours, a few places in Chattogram division may again experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds. Otherwise, conditions are expected to be mainly dry with partly cloudy skies nationwide, with both day and night temperatures likely to remain nearly unchanged.
