Export-import to resume at Akhaura land port

BRAHMANBARIA: Export-import trade through A Akhaura land port bordering India’s landlocked northeast would resume Sunday, after suspension Saturday over the death of an Indian worker run over by a bus.   
 
General Secretary M Monir Hossain Babul of C&F Association of the land port said a worker named Chandon was run over by a bus in Agartola few days back.

Businessmen of India stopped the activities at the land port as part of mourning programme for the worker.

As a result, export-import activities halted Saturday.
