GAZIPUR: Two persons were killed in separate road crashes on Dhaka-Mymensing highway in Sadar thana and Sreepur upazila of the district on Thursday morning.

Amongst the deceased, one was identified as Farhat Hossain, 23, son of Fazal Mia of Jolarpar area in Gazipur city.

Naozor highway police outpost Sub-inspector Altab Hossain told banglanews, “A bus ran over a motorcyclist in Teknapara area in Sadar thana, leaving him dead on the spot.”

Mawna highway police station Officer-in-Charge Sanowar Hossain told banglanews, “A truck rammed an unidentified man in MC Bazar area in Sreepur upazila, leaving him dead on the spot.”
