DHAKA: Ahsania Mission is going to receive ‘UNESCO Confucius Literacy Award’ for their outstanding performance in increasing literacy in root level.

Ahsania Mission Chairman Kazi Rafiqul Alam will receive the award at UNESCO headquarter in Paris on Sunday in ceremony marking the World Literacy Day.

Ahasania Mission Executive Director Dr Mohammad Ahsanur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

A crest, certificate and 25,000 US dollar will be given as award.

Every year UNESCO arranged the award giving ceremony on world literacy day. And this year Bangladesh is selected to receive the prestigious award.
