NARSINGDI: Ignoring the drizzling, hundreds of supporters of opposition BNP started gathering at Balur Math area of Narsigndi from Sunday morning as party’s chairperson Khelda Zia would address here in the afternoon.

Carrying festoons, banners containing pictures of Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman, the supporters, coming from adjacent districts, were seen chanting slogans.

On this occasion, whole Narsingdi wore a festive look.

Party sources said that Khaleda Zia will leave Dhaka at 2:00pm for Narsigndi.
