Govt to take action against Yunus

DHAKA: The government has decided to take legal action against Nobel Laureate Dr Mohammad Yunus for income tax irregularities.

The decision was taken in the cabinet meeting on Monday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Cabinet secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to journalists after the meeting.
