DHAKA: Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif said that his party is prepared for highest sacrifices for holding upcoming general polls in free, fair and transparent manner.

The Awami league leader came up with the assertion while talking with reporters in his office at city’s Karwanbazar on Wednesday.

Hanif urged main opposition BNP to join upcoming session of parliament.

Criticizing BNP leader MK Anwar’s speech, in which he said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will not attend the UN general assembly fearing the int’l community, Hanif said, “BNP always make propagandas in such a wicked way by fearing massive popularity of Awami League.”
