CHITTAGONG: Three people, including a student and a garments worker, were found dead in different areas of CEPZ Thana in the city on Thursday.
Of the deceased, two were identified as Josna Begum, 24, a garments worker and wife of Mansur Ali and Riyadh, 11, a student of class-IV, son of M Ripon.
Later, on information, police recovered the bodies from different areas of the city.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Port) of CMP Manjur Morshed told banglanews: “We have recovered the bodies of a garments worker, a student and an old woman who is probably a beggar.”
Police sources said that as a result of an altercation with her husband, worker of Siraj and Sons Garments, Josna Begum committed suicide at the bathroom of the 4th floor of the garments.
Meanwhile, Riyadh committed suicide when his parents left home for work at around 7.30pm.
On the other hand, on information, police recovered a body of a sexagenarian woman from a ditch in front of Ruby Cement.
The police official also said three UD (unnatural death) cases were filled with the thana in these connections.
