NILPHAMARI: Two children drowned at Melapanga village under Matukpur union of Domar upazila of the district on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Sajal, 6, son of Sonatan Barman and Pranto, 6, son of Paishanju Barman of the area.

Witnesses said Sajal and Pranto drowned while they were taking bath in a pond near their house.

Matukpur UP Chairman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
