THAKURGAON: At least four people were killed and six others injured in a road accident in Khotabari area on Dhaka-Thakurgaon highway in the district on Saturday evening.

Of the deceased, two were identified as Saiful Islam, 35, from Hajipara area and Mujibul, 38, from Khotabari area.

Witnesses said a Thakurgaon-bound rashly driven truck collided head-on with a human hauler in Khotabari area, leaving the four people dead and six others injured.

Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.
