DHAKA: A fire broke out at a readymade garment factory in Nandipara under Sabujbagh Thana in the city on Sunday noon.

On information, four fire fighting units rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

Confirming the matter, Sabujbagh police station Officer-in-Charge Babul Mia told banglanews, “The fire originated at the fourth and fifth floor of the factory at around 12:30pm.”

Along with fire fighters, RAB-police were deployed in the area, he added.
