Prince Aga Khan arrives Dhaka

DHAKA: Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, the 49th Imam of Nizari Ismailism, arrived here Dhaka on a two-day visit on Monday morning.

A private plane carrying his entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 08:00am.

Foreign Minister welcomed him. Aga Khan was given a red carpet reception and went to Hotel Sonargoan.

Dipu Moni and Finance Minister separately will pay courtesy call on him at noon.

Later, he will pay homage to National Mausoleum at Savar and visit Bangabandhu memorial museum at Dhanmondi-32.

Aga Khan will join a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the evening and will also pay a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban.
    
On September 17, Aga Khan will also visit Dhaka Jamaatkhana in Bashundhara Residential area, Baridhara before leaving Dhaka.
