Section 144 imposed in Patuakhali

PATUAKHALI: The local administration imposed section 144 in Hetalaia Badhghat in the town to avert an imminent clash between BNP and Awami League Friday.

The imposed section 144 will be enforced from 3:00pm until further notice.

District Additional Magistrate Delawar Hossain announced section 144 at 3:00pm from the spot as AL and BNP convened separate programmes at same time and venue.

Additional police super Azimul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
