DHAKA: The bail hearing of Adilur Rahman, Secretary of Human rights organization Odhikar, will be held on September 25.
Dhaka Cyber Crime Tribunal fixed the date on Thursday as no state prosecutor was appointed yet.
Meanwhile, high officials of British, European Union, German, France, Nepal embassy were present in the tribunal.
The tribunal also ordered jail authority to produce him before court on the day.
DB Inspector Asraful Alam, on Wednesday, submitted the charge against Adilur and Elan to the CMM court.
In their Investigation, Detective Branch (DB) of Police found that Odhikar claim of 61 deaths in the May 5 police crackdown as false and pressed charge sheet against the rights workers.
On August 10, a cyber crime team of Detective Branch of DMP held the former attorney general and human rights activist Adilur Rahman from his Gulshan residence for alleged involvement in publishing false report and photographs over death toll of a police crackdown of Hefajat-e-Islam rally of May 5.
Adilur is now in Kashimpur Central Jail.
