DHAKA: A group of boys got a dead girl admitted into the emergency ward of Dhaka Medical College Hospital and fled before the doctor could deem anything about her condition Wednesday.

The deceased was registered as Shipa, 20, in the logbook of the hospital without any more information.

Sources said three young men rushed into the hospital at around 9:30pm with a senseless girl and they were looking for doctors. They fled while Dr Khandaker Mezbah Ahmed checking up the girl. Duty doctor declared her dead at about 10:00pm, said hospital sources.

“A deep black mark was found in the neck of the deceased,” said Dr Mezbah.

The body was lying in the hospital when the report came.
