DHAKA: Attorney General Mahbubey Alam condemned Pakistan’s interior minister and Parliament statements regarding war crims convict Quader Mollah’s execution saying that those are totally illegal and unacceptable.
Their position in this regards is also against international rule and regulations, he commented.
The highest law officer of the country spoke at a press briefing at his office Thursday noon.
He said, ‘Pakistan’s aggressive mentality is still alive like 1971. Their current statements are examples of their enmity. These statements also prove that Quader Mollah was a collaborator and a war criminal’.
Condemning their statements Alam further said, ‘These statements are illegal, show their audacity and go against civilization’.
He also urged Pakistan’s younger generations to stand against the fundamentalism.
Additional Attorney General MK Rahman, Murad Reza and Mamtajuddin Fakir, among others, were present at the briefing.
