DHAKA: Miscreants torched a passenger bus of S Alam Paribahan near Kamalapur Railway Station in the city on Wednesday evening.

The incident took place around 5:15pm on Wednesday, the last day of 84-hour hartal called by 18-party alliance.

Helper of the bus Monir said some pickets torched the bus when it was being prepared for long trip, leaving the bus gutted fully.

Motijheel Thana PI Abul Basahr confirmed the matter to banglanews.
