DHAKA: Sajib Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, hold a meeting for two hours with the US ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena on Thursday evening.

Diplomatic sources said that they discussed over the ongoing political situation and ways to resolve the political crisis of the country at length from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Joy also met with Canadian High Commissioner to Dhaka Heather Cruden at her residence in the morning.

In the evening, US Deputy Ambassador John Danny Louis held with BNP’s acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
