RUPGANJ, NARAYANGANJ: A case was filed against 421 leaders and activists, including the upazila BNP president Kazi Moniruzzaman Monir, of opposition BNP-led 18-party with Rupganj Thana of the district on charge of arson and vandalism.

Sub-Inspector Mohidul Islam filed the lawsuit with the thana.

Assistant Sub-Inspector of the Thana Monjuddoha told banglanews that the case was filed against 421 leaders and activists of 18-party, mentioning 21 names including upazila BNP president Kazi Moniruzzaman Monir and upazila Chhatra Dal president Anwar Sadat Sayem, and others unnamed.
