DHAKA: The members of law enforcement agency held two BNP leaders, including Cantonment Thana BNP president Afazuddin Pradhan, from a procession in cantonment area in support of countrywide blockade on Saturday morning.

The other leader is joint general secretary of the thana BNP Ismail Molla.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Cantonment Thana Salauddin Ahmed said they held the BNP leaders from a procession.

On Friday night, main opposition BNP-led 18-party called for a countrywide 72-hour blockade from 6:00am Saturday to 6:00am Tuesday to press their demand of non-party caretaker government for polls-time.
