NEW YORK: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) New York unit staged a demonstration protesting the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit at United Nations.

BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Mazibur Rahman said that “illegally elected” Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will not be allowed to join in the 69th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

Sources said that BNP leaders got permission to show black flag in front of JFK International Airport in New York protesting Bangladesh Prime Minister’s visit.

On the other hand, US Awami League unit staged rally to protest against BNP protest.

The premier scheduled to join the 69th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in New York.
