NATORE: Health and family welfare affairs minister Mohammad Nasim on Tuesday said that no election would be held before 2019.
The ruling Awami League lawmaker made the comment Tuesday afternoon while addressing the inaugural session of district Awami League’s tri-annual convention at Kanaikhali Stadium in the district.
He, however, said that BNP is not capable for movement. “They, who run away after noticing police, at least can not carry a protest.”
The AL leader also commented that if his party sits for dialogue, it will be held with the Election Commission (EC), not with BNP.
Awami League joint-general secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanok, ICT state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for textiles and jute Mirza Azam, former minister Faruk Khan and Abu Sayeed Al Mahmood were among others present at the program.
