DHAKA: A group of government officials met with Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia at her political office in city’s Gulshan area.

The officials led by joint secretary AKM Jahangir (Officer on Special Duty), went to meet the BNP chief on Thursday evening.

Sources concerned told the media that they discussed over the current administrative and political situations of the country.

Ibrahim Miaji of science and technology ministry, Nurul Islam of textiles and jute ministry, Abdul Mannan and AKM Humayun Kabir of local government ministry and Badiul Kabir of public administration were among others present at the meeting.
