DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has called an emergency press conference on Wednesday noon.

The press meet will be held at 1:00pm at party’s central office in city’s Nayapaltan area, said party sources.

Confirming the matter, BNP chairperson’s media wing official Shairul Kabir Khan told banglanews that party acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will brief the media.

“He might explain BNP stance there over country’s present political situations including whether the party will participate or not at DCC elections,” Shairul Kabir added.
