DHAKA: A meeting of ruling 14-party alliance will be held at Sheikh Hasina’s political office in city’s Dhanmondi area on Thursday.

The meeting will begin at 11:00am in the day, said a press release signed by Awami League (AL) deputy office secretary Mrinal Kanti Das.

AL presidium member and also 14-party alliance spokesperson Mohammed Nasim will chair the meeting. People concerned are requested to join the meeting on time.

Moreover, an extended meeting of Awami League has been called at 4:00pm on Friday to discuss on Martyred Intellectuals Day on December 14, Victory Day on December 16 and Democracy Victory Day on January 5.

AL general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam, in a statement, asked MPs and leaders of AL and its associate organizations in Dhaka metropolitan area to join the meeting on time.
