PATUAKHALI: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit costal district Patuakhali on Thursday to inaugurate ‘Coast Guard (CG) Base Agrajatra’ and to lay foundation stones of several projects in the district.

Patuakhali deputy commissioner Amitav Sarkar told banglanews that the premier will inaugurate five projects of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) and several development works in Patuakhali municipality area.

The PM will also lay foundation stones of five other projects of Public Works Department (PWD), Amitav added.

Engineer Abdul Gani of PWD Barisal Division told banglanews that all out preparations have been taken for CG base inauguration on Thursday.

However, district PWD set up the infrastructure of the CG Base with a cost of Tk 43.56 crore and on a land of 23.68 acres three kilometers south to Patuakhali town.
