BNP’s movements failed: Obaidul

NOAKHALI: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader claimed Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) repeatedly failed to organize mass movement in the country.

Moreover, they have fabricated the country’s glorious history about the Liberation War in 1971, he added.

The minister came up with the assertion while addressing a rally in Kabirhat of Noakhali on Monday.

Obaidul said the international militants and their local accomplices are doing conspiracy to oust the incumbent government and also conducting secret activities in different areas in the country.

“We should promise to resist the foes of democracy, independence and development with the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”, he added.

Later, the minister inaugurated a new building of Kabirhat Government Primary School.

Deputy Commissioner Badare Munir Ferdous and Superintendent of Police Ilias Sharif, among others, were present in the program.
