DHAKA: Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal will stage demonstration across the country protesting issuance of arrest warrant against BNP senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman.

Giasuddin Mamun, central leader of Jubo Dal, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On Thursday, the court of metropolitan magistrate Mohammad Yunus Khan issued arrest warrant against Tarique Rahman in a defamation case for terming Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman a ‘top Razakar’.

Earlier in December 15, Tarique Rahman, the elder son of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, called Sheikh Mujib 'Razakar' while speaking at a discussion at The Atrium in East London marking the 44th Victory Day.
