DHAKA: Separate sedition cases were filed against BNP senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman and Ekushey Television (ETV) chairman Abdus Salam on Thursday.

Second officer of Tejgaon Thana sub-inspector Borhanuddin filed the case with the police station at noon.

Deputy Police Commissioner Biplob Kumar Sarkar of Tejgaon Zone and officer-in-charge (OC) Mazharul Islam of Tejgaon Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
