DHAKA: Miscreants torched two passenger buses in city’s Mohakhali and Motijheel areas during the third day of BNP-led 20-party alliance called nationwide blockade on Thursday night.

Fire service sources said that blockaders set fire to a passenger bus in Mohakhali around 7:15pm while another gang of blockaders torched a passenger bus at 7:20pm in Motijheel.

On information, two units of fire fighters rushed to Mohakhali and doused the flame.

Fire Service Headquarters Officer-in-Charge Enayet Hossain and Fire Service control room duty officer Nilufer Yeasmin confirmed the matters to banglanews.

No casualty was reported in these incidents immediately.
