DHAKA: The law enforcers again conducted a drive in the residence of BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas, who is also the party convener of Dhaka Metropolitan Unit, in capital’s Shahjahanpur area Friday afternoon.

Sources said the plainclothes police raided his house around 5:30pm but Mirza Abbas or his relatives were not found here.

The law enforcers interrogated the employees of the house and left around 6:00pm.

Earlier on January 3 and 5, law enforcers raided the BNP senior leader’s residence.
