DHAKA: Blockaders blasted a cocktail at Bangladesh Television (BTV) office complex in the capital on Saturday, the fifth day of nationwide blockade called by BNP.

Sources told banglanews that the incident took place around 1:45pm.

Witnesses said that a group of youths, who reached the spot on foot, hurled the cocktail at state-owned television channel’s head office premises at that time and left the scene.

But, luckily none sustained injuries in this incident, said Rampura Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbubur Rahman, confirming the blast.
