BOGRA: Local unit of BNP-led 20-party alliance called 24 hours hartal in the district for Thursday.

A statement signed by BNP office secretary Mahfuzur Rahman Razu, said on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the hartal is called as a protest of arresting the leaders and activists of BNP and its alliance in the name of drives conducted by joint forces across the country.

The hartal is also called to protest killing as well as torture on alliance people. It also demands immediate release of them.
