DHAKA: A group of miscreants torched a bus and blasted 3/4 cocktails on Kazi Nazrul Islam road in city’s Mohammadpur area on Wednesday.

Sources said some miscreants chanting ‘Joy Bangla’ slogan suddenly came from a roadside area and started throwing brickbats at the bus.

At one stage, they torched the bus of ‘Maitree Paribahan’ in the area around 7:00pm.

None was injured in the incident as the passengers hurriedly got down from the bus.

Moreover, the miscreants blasted 3/4 cocktails in the area, sources added.

On information, police rushed to the spot.

However, none was arrested in this connection as the miscreants fled the scene immediately.
