DHAKA: Miscreants torched a covered van in city’s Rampura area on Thursday evening.

Witnesses said that a gang of miscreants set fire to a parked covered van in the area around 5:45pm and fled the scene.

However, the locals rushed to the spot and doused the blaze immediately.

None was reportedly injured in the incident.

Rampura Thana Operation Officer Sub-Inspector Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
