DHAKA: Miscreants torched three buses in Kamalapur, Rampura, Gabtali areas and vandalize human hauler in Mohammadpur area of the city on Thursday during the indefinite blockade called by 20-party alliance.

In Kamalapur, a bus of Ekhusey Parubahan was torched in Maniknagar area around 7:30pm.

In Rampura, some miscreants in disguise of passenger torched a bus, Suprovat Poribahan, in Kancha Bazar area around 7:40pm.

Being informed, police and fire service units rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

Fire service control room operator M Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Moreover, a Gulistan-bound bus of Bandhu Paribahan, was torched by miscreants near Abul Hotel of Rampura area around 8:45pm.

In Gabtali, some miscreants torched a Rupkatha Paribahan bus in front of Hanif Counter of the Bus Terminal area around 8:45pm.

However, locals doused the fire after some time.

In Mohammadpur, some 20-25 young people brought out a procession in Beribadh area and vandalize a human hauler, leguna, around 8:45pm.

The miscreants also blasted three cocktails in the area at the same time.
