DHAKA: Awami League (AL) publicity and publication secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud termed BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia as the ‘queen of terror’.

He made the comment while addressing a rally at National Press Club in the city on Friday.

Blaming Khaleda Zia for bomb, arson attacks and killings across the country, Hasan Mahmud said that Khaleda has become detached from the common people as people are not supporting her destructive politics.

The AL leader also said “Khaleda is no more a leader of mass people rather she has become now the queen of terror.”

He also said that Khaleda will not be able to usurp state power as none was spared from her cruelty in the name of blockade.

Hasan Mahmud urged the government to take legal actions against Khaleda for instigating the violent activities.

Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (BSJ) organized the discussion.

Organization’s vice president Dr Inamul Haque chaired the program where other senior leaders of the ruling party were also present.
