DHAKA: Bangladesh Muktijuddho Projonmo League has announced an ultimatum of 48 hours to BNP chairman Khaleda Zia for withdrawal of ongoing nationwide blockade.

The organization’s central committee president Saifur Rahman Chhotan made the announcement from a rally in Gulshan-2 circle in city Saturday morning.

He said that if the BNP chief does not withdraw the blockade by 48 hours then her political office in Gulshan will be besieged.

Tougher movement will be enforced against the blockade, he warned.

Moreover, the leaders and activists chanted slogans against violence created by BNP in the name of political movement.
