DHAKA: Some 216 platoons Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members are deployed across the country to avert sabotage during BNP-led 20-party’s hartal and blockade.
In the meantime, 78 platoons more have been ready to be deployed anytime if situation goes out of control.
Public Relations officer of BGB Headquarters Muhammad Mohsin Reza confirmed the matter to banglanews on Monday morning.
He said eight platoons BGB members are deployed in the capital Dhaka and rest platoons are deployed across country.
