RAJSHAHI: BNP called 24-hour hartal in Rajshahi division from Wednesday protesting the case filed against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and the arrests of other BNP leaders.

BNP Rajshahi division unit organizing secretary Harun-or-Rashid confirmed the matter to banglanews on Monday noon.

In a high level meeting, the BNP leaders decided to enforce the hartal in all districts of the division.

They also urged party’s associated organizations to make the hartal a success.

On January 19, BNP enforced hartal protesting the arrest of BNP special secretary, Rajshahi district unit president and also ex-MP advocate Nadim Mostafa.
