DHAKA: Cable television and internet services at BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office were disconnected this morning, hours after the power supply had been cut off on Saturday.

The cable television connection was cut off around 11:00am, followed by the disconnection of internet service.

Sources of Khaleda’s Press Wing confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier at 2:42am, Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) cut off the electricity line.

However, generator has since been used to supply power to the office.

Moreover, people staying inside the office were able to watch satellite television channels, which came to a halt as the cable connection went off.
