DHAKA: Police detained 13 female activists of BNP including six pro-BNP female lawyers from the gate of BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office on Saturday evening.

Sources said that six pro-BNP lawyers were detained from the area around 6:30pm while they were coming out from Khaleda’s office after a conversation with her.

After a while, another female activist of BNP was held from the police.

Moreover, six other female activists of the party were also detained from Khaleda’s BNP office premises around 8:30pm.

However, the detainees were taken to an unknown place, a competent source from the party claimed.
