Covered-van torched in Tongi

GAZIPUR: The blockaders torched a covered-van in Tongi-Cheragali area of the district on Saturday night.

Witnesses said that a gang of blockaders hurled a petrol bomb aiming at a covered-van in the area around 6:30pm.

The van was caught fire and gutted soon.

On information, the fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the flame.

No one was reportedly injured in the incident.
