COMILLA: Two passenger buses were torched by hartal-blockade supporters in Syedpur area under Burichong upazila of the district on early Sunday.

Locals said that the hartal and blockade supporters set fire to two passenger buses in the area around 12:30am.

The anarchists also blasted several cocktails and hurled petrol bombs there, locals added.

However, the passengers and drivers of the two buses managed to get down from the buses immediately so that no casualties were reported in the incidents.

On information, two units of fire service rushed to place and doused the flame.

Comilla Fire Service Senior Officer Abul Bashar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
