MEHERPUR: Miscreants exploded four hand-made bombs at the neighboring houses of two leaders of BNP and its major ally Jamaat-e-Islami at Jorapukuria village under Gangni upazila of the district early Saturday.

The explosion occurred around 2:00am at the houses of BNP leaders Tagar Ali and Jamaat leader Rabiul Islam of the village.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Gangni Thana Officer-In-Charge (OC) Riazul Islam said the bombs were blasted at the same time.

Police visited the spot and collected the evidences, the OC added.

No casualty and detention was reported in the incident.
